Is laser hair removal right for you?
Sixty seconds, no email required. We’ll tell you honestly whether laser will work for your hair, which laser is safe for your skin, how many sessions to expect, what it should cost, and which nearby clinics fit — including whether an at-home device makes more sense for you.
What's your skin tone?
Be honest about how your skin reacts to the sun — it decides which laser is safe for you.
How this works
Laser hair removal is deceptively personal. The right answer depends on your skin tone (which decides what’s safe), your hair color and coarseness (which decide whether it’s effective), your budget, your pain tolerance, and any conditions like PCOS. Most directories just list clinics. We compute what actually applies to you — then point you to the clinics that match.
Will laser hair removal work for me?
It depends mostly on your hair color. Laser targets pigment, so it works best on dark hair and is largely ineffective on blonde, red, gray or white hair (electrolysis is the answer there). Our assessment tells you honestly based on your hair and skin.
Which laser is safe for my skin?
On light-to-olive skin most lasers are safe; on darker or tanned skin you should use an Nd:YAG laser to avoid burns and hyperpigmentation. The assessment identifies the safe laser type for your Fitzpatrick skin type.
How much will laser hair removal cost me?
It depends on your areas and the number of sessions (usually 6–8). The assessment estimates a realistic total range for the specific areas you choose.
